Electric Steam Boiler
Electric Steam Boilers
Vapor Power electric steam boilers are designed to provide fast, efficient, and economical steam for heating and process through the use of electric resistance elements. These systems are used in a wide range of applications, from power boilers in industrial facilities to electric steam boiler residential installations, and they can be configured as an electric steam boiler for industrial use where dependable steam is required. In many facilities, an electric steam boiler functions as an electric steam heater within a broader electric steam heating system, supporting building heat and process loads.
The boiler controls automatically energize/de-energize steps of elements to maintain the desired steam pressure. All Vapor Power resistance style boilers utilize 70-75 wpsi Incoloy-sheathed elements configured in conservatively sized circuits to allow for overvoltage conditions as great as 10% without adversely affecting the integrity of circuit components. For customers comparing power boiler solutions, replacing steam boilers, or integrating with a steam furnace, Vapor Power supports engineered electric boiler packages. If you’re searching for an electric steam boiler for sale or even using the common misspelling eletric boiler, our team can help match the right electric steam boiler configuration to your requirements.

Spray Deaerators
Deaerators
Vapor Power’s pressurized spray deaerators reduce oxygen levels to .005 cc/liter or less and eliminate carbon dioxide, protecting boilers, feed pumps, and feedwater systems from corrosion. By spraying water in thin films and scrubbing it with steam, dissolved gases are rapidly removed, raising the water temperature and freeing it from corrosive gases. This process also preheats the boiler feedwater, reducing thermal shock on downstream components, enhancing performance, and maximizing the overall return on investment (ROI) for the boiler system.

Electric Superheaters
Superheaters
The Vapor Power electric superheaters are custom designed to provide high efficiency, fast response heating. All of our electric superheaters utilize rugged electric resistance heating elements mounted in an ASME pressure vessel. SCR temperature control provides full modulation to maintain the desired steam temperature. Similar to our fuel fired superheaters, the electric superheaters are available in a wide variety of pressure and temperature combinations. An electric superheater can be located adjacent to the saturated steam source or remote in the system if only a portion of the steam load requires superheat.
Fuel-Fired Superheaters
Superheaters
The Vapor Power Superheater is a coil tube design, similar to our steam generators. Saturated steam enters at the inlet of the superheater, passes through a set of coils, and hot combustion gases envelop the entire tube surface to achieve very high heat transfer rates. Superheated steam leaves the superheater at the steam outlet manifold. The fuel and combustion air is controlled by a linkageless fuel air ratio control that responds to steam temperature.
Modulatic® Fuel-Fired Steam Boilers
Fuel-Fired Steam Boilers
The Modulatic® fuel-fired steam boiler is a once-through watertube boiler with a positive displacement pump. The burner management system controls the amount of feedwater admitted to the coils by regulating the speed of the pump, based on the steam pressure set point compared to the actual reading. The Modulatic® steam generator is available in capacities up to 220 BHP and has a compact footprint, saving you space. In less than 5 minutes, the Modulatic® can go from a cold start to full output and is available in design pressures required for your industry.
This product is available with the latest in communications and controls technology. Linkageless burner controls and a variable speed positive displacement pump are standard features, allowing for optimal efficiency at all firing rates and long pump life. A variety of PLC and HMI solutions are available, and our in-house programming provides customized solutions for every application. Remote data acquisition and control are available via ModBus, Ethernet, Bacnet, or other communication protocols.
